Professional Services Boundary Notice

1. What BWSP Provides

BWSP provides:

• Executive management consulting;
• Operational strategy, including process design and standard operating procedure development;
• Fractional controller and fractional chief financial officer (CFO) services, meaning oversight and review of the work of your bookkeeper, month-end close review, financial controls and approval procedures, management reporting, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and financial planning for the business; and
• Systems integration, including client portals, dashboards, databases, and workflow automation.

2. What BWSP Does Not Provide

BWSP is not a law firm, a certified public accounting firm, a licensed engineering firm, a licensed contractor, or a registered investment adviser. BWSP does NOT provide, and nothing in the Services should be taken as:

• Legal services or legal advice, including drafting contracts, change orders, lien waivers, or other legal documents for you or your customers;
• Bookkeeping or transaction recording. BWSP reviews and directs the work of your own bookkeeper; it does not keep your books;
• Certified public accountant (CPA) services, attest services, or accounting opinions;
• Tax preparation, tax planning, or tax advice;
• Audit, review, or assurance services;
• Professional engineering services;
• Licensed contracting, construction management, or building-code compliance services;
• Investment advice, securities, lending, or loan brokerage services (fractional CFO services are management-level financial oversight and planning for your business, not investment advice);
• Human resources or employment-law advice, including wage-and-hour compliance; or
• Payroll processing, payroll tax filing, or benefits administration.

3. Working With Your Licensed Advisors

Where an engagement touches legal, accounting, tax, audit, engineering, contracting, employment, or payroll matters, BWSP's role is limited to operational analysis, financial oversight and reporting, and systems support. You should obtain advice from appropriately licensed professionals before acting. Where BWSP configures a form or workflow that contains contract terms, notices, or other legal language, you or your attorney are responsible for supplying or approving that language; BWSP configures only the workflow. With your permission, BWSP may coordinate with your attorneys, CPAs, and other advisors, but those advisors remain responsible for their professional services.

4. No Professional-Client Relationship

Using the website, portals, or BWSP materials does not create an attorney-client, accountant-client, or other licensed professional relationship with BWSP.
